March 18, 2012--Creative Communication students will put on the Winnipeg Humane Society (WHS) Telethon. Nine hours long, the telethon will air LIVE on Shaw TV.
Red River students will be hosting, producing, and directing the entire program using Shaw's live truck.
The WHS is a non-profit organization helping abandoned and adopted animals, giving them a better life. The telethon is an annual event that raises money to cover the shelter's costs of caring for the animals.
Tune in to Shaw TV on Sunday, March 18th.
