Men and women are interested in different stuff. The best example of this happened a few weeks ago outside the college with a few friends...
We were leaving the Subway across from Red River, and there was some construction going on in the middle of the road.
So we crossed the street, and Tom and I both got as close as we could and looked down the big hole they dug - to see what was going on.
The two other girls we were walking with, Rachelle and Alex, were looking at a blue car, and they were talking about how much they liked that shade - unconcerned about the construction.
It was then that I realized a universal law - all men like construction.
Before you disagree, just hear me out.
When a man sees construction, he thinks - hey, what's going on? What are they doing?
It's super common to see a man stop by a construction site while he is walking the dog, or out for a drive.
Just think about how many times you've seen a man stop by - just to see what's going on.
All men like construction. Men are from Mars. What do women like? I don't know - Martians don't really understand Venus...
Just a disclaimer; I am not being sexist - women can do construction, and they can like it. I am in no way implying or inferring that they cannot do either of these in any way.
Personally, I start liking construction when the structure takes shape. Architecture has always been a fascination for me; interior design comes second. What's so great about a giant hole, anyway, unless you can throw one of your enemies into it?
ReplyDeleteDon't know, just wanted to see what was going on..
ReplyDeleteHa ha, glad that we could help you out with this post. However, the car in question wasn't blue, it was clearly a shade of bluesy-purple. You would have known this had you not been enthralled in a hole. :p
ReplyDeleteI bet you have NO IDEA how deep that hole was!! :p
