Here is a 30 second PSA I wrote for Coalition of Municipalities Against Racism and Discrimination.
PSA
Music: Contemporary piano, soft but serious tone.
Announcer: 4000 years ago, slaves in Egypt built the
pyramids. They’re whipped in the hot sun just because they’re slaves.
2000 years ago, Christians were fed to the
lions in the Colosseum for entertainment, just
because of their beliefs.
60 years ago, African Americans were
treated with little or no respect, just because
of the colour of their skin.
Today, Let’s keep moving forward. As history
progresses, so should we. From living in
caves to condos, we’ve changed a lot.
So after thousands of years - let’s treat
people, like people.
