Jets on the Verge of First WIN?

The Winnipeg Jets are about to possibly get their first win of the season! This would break their 0-3 record and send chills down the spines of every hockey fan in the Peg City.

Thinking back the Jets' return, I saw it as an interesting marketing case study. Maybe it was a fluke, maybe it was strategic marketing, maybe it was CEOs taking a long time to make big decisions. But it sure worked to create more demand.

I'm talking about the classic - supply and demand.

First it was the Jets themselves. There were rumours, blog posts, and much talk. It still seemed like a myth, but it was enough to make you wonder.

Supply was low, but it was a possibility - maybe. Demand was growing.

Then the day eventually came. The Jets (or "insert name") were coming back to Winnipeg!

But exactly! What are they going to call them?

The "supply" (the Jets name) was suddenly low, they might not even be called the Jets! Suddenly everyone had an opinion, and most of the demand was for the original name, as it might not happen!

After all this, it didn't even matter what the logo looked like, they had us.

We all demand the Jets, and is it because we all fear our supply could run out? Or was it just a fluke how the timing of the return happened?

One thing is for sure, the demand is HIGH.
